Reiki Healing
Reiki is a gentle yet powerful form of energy healing that promotes balance, relaxation, and overall well-being for animals. Rooted in the Japanese healing tradition founded by Mikao Usui, Reiki works by channelling the universal life force energy to support an animal’s natural ability to heal—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Unlike other healing modalities, Reiki is non-invasive and requires no physical contact. This makes it an ideal form of support for animals of all kinds, including those who may be anxious, in pain, recovering from illness, or nearing the end of life.
Animals are incredibly receptive to energy work, often drawing as much or as little Reiki as they need in each session. Whether working with companion animals, rescue cases, sport animals, or seniors, Reiki can ease stress, strengthen the human-animal bond, and bring profound peace to both animals and their caregivers.
I decided to study Reiki and incorporate it into my practice after my personal experience incorporating it into my healing journey as well as my animals and watching the subtle shifts transform our lives. Throughout our healing journey, I have studied and sought out many holistic and allopathic modalities and practitioners to assist. Reiki was the most gentle and deep-acting treatment we received.
The clearing of fear, worry, grief, and anger was felt on a physical level of detoxification for myself. I watched my soul horse step more courageously into her world again, learning how to adjust and shift her energy with others and finding her power again. Most recently, in personally providing Reiki for my girl Mollie, I am watching her become more playful, confident, active, calm, and far less worried. She is now able to travel for the first time in 10 years without being sick.
